3E Plus^®

3E Plus^® is a free program to calculate heat loss, surface temperatures, and other heat transfer calculations offered by the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA).

 

According to their website, 3E Plus^® is "used as a tool in several Department of Energy programs offered through its Office of Industrial Technologies" and "used by the National Insulation Association (NIA) as an integral part of its Insulation Energy Appraisal Certification Program."

 

While we have no affiliation with NAIMA, we have found this program to be an extremely valuable tool that we use to ensure our customers are getting the right product for their application.

Note: The NAIMA website indicates that 3E Plus^® is not compatible with Windows Vista, but it does not give any indication whether or not it is compatible with Windows 7. We are not sure their official stance on Windows 7 compatibility, but we have been successfully using it on Windows 7 machines with no problems.
